Singer-songwriter/guitarist Will Johns has been playing his riffs across the globe for more than 15 years. With a blend of fiery vocals & guitar wizardry, his compositions & performances consist of blistering authentic rock & blues. He has performed with many incredible musicians, entrancing listeners around the world. His crafted songs and performing style are as infectious as they are rousing.

Will was born in London in 1973 to actress/model Paula Boyd, (sister of Pattie Boyd of Layla fame), & Record Producer/Engineer Andy Johns (The Stones, Led Zep, Van Halen).

He first started playing guitar & singing at age fifteen during his frequent stays with his auntie Pattie. He was encouraged and mentored during these periods by the legendary guitarist Eric Clapton. He then went on to study performing arts in Oxford, regularly honing his busking skills in Carfax Crossroads & the streets of Oxford. He went on to form his first band, Cloud 9.

In ‘93, Will recorded with legendary Clash frontman Joe Strummer. He then re-opened ‘The Crawdaddy Club’, the birthplace of The Rolling Stones, at the original site in Richmond & held weekly Jam Sessions. 


Will has performed with Jack Bruce from the Supergroup CREAM & recorded in L.A with dad Andy Johns. He has also appeared with Bill Wyman, Ron Wood at the Mandarin Oriental.

During his stint in L.A. he bumped into old friend Jesse Wood. Together they formed GLYDA. This amazing band wowed audiences as they toured The United States, Ireland, France, Germany & the UK. Also releasing an album & three EP’s. 

Will recently moved back to Brighton where he has been writing his first debut album ‘Count On Me’. He finished recording at the end of July 2009.
