 John Soliman is a full-time magician specialising in close up magic for all occasions, corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, Christmas and more. John has a gift for entertaining people of all ages and backgrounds with his easy going friendly manner, his smooth sleight of hand skill and his charming way of making everyone part of the magic.

He is a magician whose love for his art is so easily transferred into the excitement and pleasure of others, and as a result he becomes as much a part of the audience as the audience themselves.

John originates from the north of Sweden where he used to work within the television and film industry. For many years he ran workshops teaching Storytelling techniques, Stop-motion Animation and Special Effects. Eight years ago he moved to the UK and pursued his life long passion for magic.

Over the years he has amazed and perplexed thousands of people with his performances at private parties, clubs, bars, restaurants and festivals.

He has performed for The Mayor of Brighton and Hove City Council Councillor Ann Norman, the Albion footballer Adam Virgo and for a wide variety of companies like for example EDF Energy, BUPA, IES, Nexus solutions, Isis Centre, Zoe Mode.

John has been repeatedly booked for events at Audio, Madame Geisha, The Hanbury Club, Terraces and The Parlure at the Brighton Festival.
He has also entertained at street parties, charity fund raising events, residential homes and at Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

John's magic is very flexible. Whether people are seated or standing, dining or drinking, whether there is loud music or silence, outdoors or indoors, John always knows how to amaze and entertain. He can go table to table, mingle amongst standing guests, do a parlour show or perform small stage acts with psychological illusions.
