Jaime Regan

<< back

After emigrating to New Zealand in 2003, musician and singer-songwriter, Jaime Regan, formed his own indie-rock band, who gigged continuously around NZ and quickly became popular on the local music scene, garnering a number of accolades from the national New Zealand Press (amongst others) for their atmospheric sound, energised performances, poetic lyricism and Jaime's distinctive voice.

Having now returned to Brighton, UK, Jaime continues to create the intimate and haunting songs with which he made his name in NZ.

Live on stage, Jaime's voice comes to the fore, moving from personal indie/folk songs to searing footstompers.

Jaime has recently completed his first solo CD - The True North EP.

"...all the audience chatter died away as every eye turned on Jaime, mesmerised by his amazing voice" - Latest 7, Brighton

"A great mix of early Bonnie 'Prince' Billy; mournful, slightly psychedelic, and brilliantly bleak" - Jeff Hemmings, Radio Reverb/Latest 7, Brighton
