"Funked UP" are a 5 piece high energy band based in London and Brighton, playing a wide repertoire of timeless funk, soul and disco (with the occasional rock, jazz and swing thrown in for good measure) playing the best dance grooves from the 60s through to the present day.

The band is made up of a group of very talented, versatile, highly qualified, experienced and professional musicians who combine a sense of style, sophistication and charisma with spontaneity and fun, providing a musical journey fit for any occasion.

Collectively they have performed with Oddysey, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Van Morrison, Gary Moore, Swing Out Sister, Roy Ayres, Boney M, Rose Royce, Womack and Womack, Jools Holland, Incognito, Candi Staton and Marlena Shaw.

This has led the band to perform in many prestigious venues all over the UK and internationally including IndigO2, Sheraton and Ramada Hotels Dubai, The Hilton Group, Jazz Cafe, Ronnie Scotts, Rock Garden, V Festval, Glastonbury and many other festivals and venues...
