Dar Ra is a Musician and DJ with two top 40 hits and two number one dance tracks to his credit. He has toured the world with various musical projects playing live and DJ’ing in the US, Australia, Middle East, Central America and Europe with great response.

Currently running the Kusha Deep Music Label which is responsible for putting out some cutting music from World Beat, Soul and Electronica, and shows the versatility of his production style and what he plays out live.

Dar Ra can play in different styles from Exotic World Beats To his cherished Northern Soul, Motown, Stax, Funk Soul, Jazz, Reggae and Ska, whatever the flavour, the degree of passion runs deep.
Always looking to please the crowd and lift the spirit of a party Dar.Ra aims to give 120% to everything he does, and will not be happy unless the audience has had the night of their lives.

Visual themes can form part of the event which can range to suit the night, from using film footage and visual effects from the 60’s,70’s,80,s 90’s or 00’s which always add an exciting backdrop to the event.

A typical set list of a Soul Night can range from The Jackson 5 Can U Feel It To Curtis Mayfields Move On Up, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Sly And The Family Stone and countless other big names from the classic decades of Soul Music.

World Beats can range from Nitin Sawhney , One Giant Leap, Cafe Del Mar, Buddah Bar, Talvin Singh, Zero 7 and a whole lot more.
