Aydenne Simone

Nina Simone Jazz award nominee 2011!

15 years ago Aydenne Simone stepped onto the small stage of a West End bar in London , and never left! The stage is Aydenne's home. This Jazz diva is a powerhouse, with deep sensuous velvet tones and an ability to deliver that rare timeless quality attributed to the great jazz singers of the 20th century.

The album 'Black Coffee' was produced by Roger Limb, who spent 30 years as a producer at the BBC, producing music for programmes like Miss Marple and Dr. Who. Roger also did all the programming, synth and piano work on the album.
They've been playing together for 16 years, and still love it!

Aydenne Simone has performed with her band Jazz Culture in some of London's finest restaurants and venues across the south of the UK, including Jazz Café, Jazz in The Park, The Chop House, and an 18 month residency at Mezzo, Wardour Street, before flying to Singapore to take up a three month residency at the 5 star Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore. Aydenne has performed at prestigious festivals including Isle of Wight Jazz Diva Festival.

Aydenne can create a beautiful subtle atmosphere for dining, or a powerful Jazz night (with a plenty of soul) with great party numbers everyone knows and loves, which will keep your guests on their feet! and give them a fantastic night out!
